A proud Costa Rican and father of two, he holds a Bachelor's in Agricultural Economics from the University of Costa Rica and a Master's in Environmental Management from Yale, a foundation that gives him a sophisticated understanding of land use, sustainability, and long-term value.

After relocating from San José to Dominical in 2020, Max put down permanent roots on the coast he now calls home.
